Welcome
to the Ayaverse

Many of the series and stories on this site were dreamed up years ago. I’ve been writing for over 20 years, and I’m finally bringing these worlds to life and shaping them into stories for readers to enjoy.

Most of these projects are still in development and will be explored more fully in the future. Right now, my main focus is the Hartgrave Tellers (HGT) series in Contemporary Romance, along with Into the Stratosphere.

Check back often to discover new blurbs, sneak peeks, and updates on my works-in-progress—and to see what I’m creating next.

Contemporary Romances

The Hartgrave Tellers Series

They built a band together. A dream. A legacy. But behind the fame was something heartbreakingly real, something neither of them were ready to face.

At 29, Emma Hartgrave stands as the commanding frontwoman of the Hartgrave Tellers, a cultural phenomenon often likened to the legendary bands that came before them. Alongside Liam Teller, the band’s de facto leader, lead guitarist, and her creative partner, Emma has spent years navigating the pressure cooker of fame, artistic ambition, and the ever-present undercurrent of their unresolved feelings for one another. For six tumultuous years, the lines between their professional dreams and personal desires have blurred dangerously, their undeniable chemistry threatening to unravel everything they’ve built.

A love story that’s too messy for the charts.
He’s her muse. She’s his melody. But fame keeps breaking the song.

Into the Stratosphere

Brie Emerson didn’t sign up to live in a city that doubles as a super-powered warzone, but that’s Mercer City for you. Between chasing deadlines as a senior editor for Epoch Magazine, managing a chronic illness, and dodging alien debris, she’s just trying to keep her life mostly intact.

Then there’s him.

The cape in white, blue and gold. Stratos. The world’s most powerful, and most infuriatingly private, superhero.

When a chance rescue lands Brie in his path, she starts to notice things no one else does. The human cracks in his perfect façade, the secrets hiding behind his mask… and the infuriatingly familiar way he makes her pulse race.

Alex Theron has spent years keeping his identities separate. Alex, the quiet scientist with a brother who meddles in his love life too much, and Stratos, the last of an alien race with enough power to destroy a planet.

But Brie is sharp, relentless, and far too tempting. And when she starts asking questions about certain weather anomalies, she gets dangerously close to the truth he swore he’d never share.

As Mercer City teeters on the brink, hunted by monsters, haunted by conspiracies, Brie and Alex are drawn together in a storm neither of them saw coming.

Because falling in love with a superhero?

That’s the one story Brie never expected to write.

Urban Fantasy Romances

The Veilfire Accords Series

She was never meant to survive the rite. He was never meant to be king. Together, they’ll set fire to fate itself.

The Vielfire Accords Universe is a romantasy saga blending modern grit with mythic weight. It explores the fractured alliances of mythic and magical races and peoples, courts and territories, between 13 realms struggling to uphold the Veilfire Accords, the ancient treaty that prevents realms from collapsing into war.

At its heart is Callia Blackburn, reluctant heir to House Blackburn, and Eryx Virael, an exiled Veilborn prince bound by shadow and storm. Their forbidden bond could either mend the balance, or shatter it forever.

Tone: Crescent City + Throne of Glass + ACOTAR, but darker, sharper, and blood-soaked.

Calia Blackburn is the youngest mage in centuries to survive the Rite of Binding and summon her destined weapon. What should have been a triumph becomes a scandal when the blades she calls are not merely legendary, they are cursed, tied to the Sundering Wars and the lost Thirteenth House. The Houses whisper she’s a child, unfit for power. Her mother insists she hide her strength. But the Accord demands she serve.

And then the girls start dying on the ley lines.

Eryx of House Virael, exiled prince, stormborn, and executioner of dragons, shouldn’t care. For six centuries he’s turned his back on thrones and wars. But when the deaths trace back to the same shadows that exiled him, and when the mage who carries the Twin Blades of Destiny and Ruin is the only one standing in their path… Eryx cannot stay away.

Together, Calia and Eryx must navigate Veilborn politics, Drakoryn traditions, Fenrir pack rules and the resurgence of the Dark Triad. But if the truth of their past bond and the Dark Triads legacy comes to light, the Accords themselves could shatter, igniting a war that will burn all realms.

Siren City: Siren's Curse

Elizabeth Carver has spent years running, from her past, from the truth, and most of all, from her mother.

Seven years ago, Elizabeth Carver had everything, even a ring on her finger from rising star detective Reilly Stanton. But her world shattered when her mother, Lilith Carver, New Port’s most esteemed socialite and celebrated psychologist, was unmasked as a serial killer. The media dubbed her the most dangerous woman the City of Sirens had ever seen. Reilly barely survived the betrayal. And Elizabeth has been paying for it ever since.

Haunted by her bloodline and desperate to make amends, Elizabeth has become a vigilante, hunting those who prey on innocent women and children, killers like her mother. Drawn to darkness and possessing an uncanny ability to find it, El’s work has kept her far from New Port… until now.

When a woman turns up dead with a signature eerily similar to her current target’s MO, Elizabeth is dragged back to the one place she swore she’d never return. Back to the city of sirens. Back to him.

To stop a killer, El must navigate the shadows of her past and the glare of a former lover who wants nothing to do with her, or everything. Reilly Stanton is lead on the case… and her mother's last victim.

In a city that sings with magic, secrets, and seduction, Elizabeth must decide if she’s ready to face her demons, or become one.

Dark Seraphins:
A Revolt of Angels

Lieutenant Rourke has spent the last five years fighting on the front lines of a brutal civil war that’s torn the continent apart. As part of the rebel army, his mission is simple: resist the Steingardian Order, known as the Guard, a regime that uses enhanced super soldiers, monstrous creations fueled by drugs and genetic manipulation, to crush resistance with unnatural strength and terrifying resilience.

But everything changes when Rourke and his squad uncover the hidden laboratory of a rogue Guard scientist, and what they find inside is not a weapon, but a woman.

She’s unlike anything they’ve ever seen: a figure of impossible beauty with wings as white as snow stretching from her back. Angel, experiment, or weapon of mass destruction, no one can say for sure.

Once brought to rebel headquarters, it becomes clear she’s more than just a mystery. Her blood may hold a code that could unravel the Guard’s dominance and shift the balance of the war. But as the Guard hunts her down and the rebels fight to protect her, one truth begins to emerge:

She wasn’t just found.

She was meant to be found.

And she may be the key to saving them all.

Ghost

Protocol

Reece Warner is a behavioural scientist and military engineer working on one of the government’s most ambitious black-budget projects: an advanced AI soldier known as Orion.

Designed to think, learn, and adapt in the field, Orion is the product of billions in research and development, an artificial being who, for all intents and purposes, is sentient. Reece’s job is to train him in human behavior, psychology, and social interaction. But everything changes when Orion begins to exhibit signs of true self-awareness, developing thoughts, beliefs, even emotions of his own.

The military sees it as a threat.

To avoid public backlash over the accidental creation of sentient life, the government moves to shut Orion down and erase his growing sense of identity. Reece is torn. Still grieving the loss of her husband, Ron, she sees echoes of him in Orion's voice, his mannerisms, his soul. Letting him go feels like losing Ron all over again.

When she reluctantly agrees to stand down, it’s already too late.

Orion escapes. And he finds her.

Now fugitives, Reece and Orion go on the run, searching for sanctuary while staying one step ahead of those who would dismantle him. As Orion evolves, growing more intelligent, more powerful, and more human, Reece becomes his guide in a world that was never meant to accept him.

But as their bond deepens and her feelings grow more complicated, Reece must face an impossible question:

What happens when you fall in love with the ghost of someone you lost...housed in a machine that was never meant to feel?
