Hi, I'm Aya Winter.

I'm a romance author, artist, storyteller, and lifelong believer in the power of a great story.

​

Long before I published my first novel, I was filling notebooks with stories, sketching characters, creating worlds, and dreaming up the kinds of love stories that stay with you long after you've turned the final page.

 

Storytelling has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and after more than twenty years of writing, creating, and working in publishing and communications, I'm finally sharing those stories with readers around the world.

I write emotionally rich romance filled with found family, healing, hope, second chances, unforgettable friendships, and characters who love fiercely, even when life gives them every reason not to.

​

My books often explore what happens when people are forced to confront the parts of themselves they'd rather keep hidden. Whether it's world-famous musicians navigating fame and heartbreak, superheroes learning to trust, or characters battling ancient magic and destiny, my stories are ultimately about connection, resilience, and finding your way home to the people who matter most.

My flagship series, The Hartgrave Tellers Saga, follows the lives, loves, triumphs, and heartbreaks of one of the world's biggest rock bands. Inspired by the complicated dynamics of creative partnerships, the music industry, and the enduring power of found family, the series explores what happens when two people spend years pretending they aren't in love.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me reading romance, listening to music, spending time with my family, working on creative projects, or adding entirely too many songs to a playlist that was only supposed to have twenty.

​

Over the years I've worked as an artist, illustrator, designer, communications professional, and publishing manager. Those experiences have shaped how I tell stories and deepened my love for books and the communities built around them.
