Fun with the Hartgrave Tellers

Extra Scene from the Break the Chains Era

“Hey, Liam.”

Liam was sitting in one of the chairs inside the hair and makeup trailer, scrolling through his phone while getting his hair styled for the Restless Wanderer video shoot.

“Yeah?” he mumbled, mid-chew on a mini Mars bar. One he’d shamelessly stolen from my stash, of course. I always requested them on shoot days. He always pretended they weren’t for him. Lies.

“I’m doing a live fan Q&A while we’re getting ready.”

“Oh God,” he groaned, shooting me a pained look. “Are you recording this?”

“I am,” I said, giggling.

“Emma!” he groaned again, shaking his head as Mai, his stylist, expertly tackled the mop of hair he’d hidden under a ball cap. She was fast and merciless. Probably the only person on earth who could wrangle Liam Teller’s hair into the effortless tousled locks he was known for without complaint.

I glanced at the flood of comments on my phone.

“The girlies are freaking out over your hair right now,” I teased.

Liam shoved another piece of the Mars bar into his mouth and grinned like an idiot.

I shook my head just as Max and Dan strolled in, loud and already up to something. Susie and Salima trailed behind them. Sal came and perched beside me on the arm of my chair, ready to watch the chaos unfold.

“Emma, are you doing a vid?” Max asked, already waving to the camera.

“Yep. Live fan Q&A.”

Dan, ever the showman, turned on the charm like a light switch. “Hey, you lot. All you lovely birds, gents and fans—we love you. Ask anything. We’re your rockstar agony aunts.”

“Alright,” I said with a wicked grin. “Renee has a great question.” I was fully stirring the pot. “If you go on a great date with a guy and he doesn’t text back right away… should you text him?”

The response was instant. All three guys, in perfect unison.

“Noooo.”

“Don’t do that.”

“Absolutely not.”

“Really?” I feigned innocence. “You wouldn’t be into that?”

“It’s not that,” Dan said, leaning into the camera like it was a confessional. “But if he’s not texting you, don’t chase him. Make that sorry sod come to you. If he doesn’t? His loss.”

“Solid advice from the Hartgrave Teller boys,” I said, grinning.

“Okay, Willow wants to know—how do you know when a guy likes you?”

“Emma, why are all your picks dating advice?” Liam asked, side-eyeing me.

“Because she’s stirring the pot,” Susie signed. Salima translated through her laughter.

“I am not,” I said, way too innocently. “We’ve got three guys here and the fans want their advice. Why not take advantage?”

“You’re trouble, Hartgrave,” Liam muttered, shaking his head.

“I’m totally down to give the ladies all the advice they need,” Dan added, clearly loving the attention.

“I wanna answer one,” Max called out, practically jogging over. I turned the camera to him as we scrolled through the comments together.

He started laughing. “Some of these are downright X-rated.”

He pointed to one, howling. “Ask this one.

I raised a brow, then read it aloud, barely holding it together. Okay, I’m gonna name names but someone wrote...me and my girls have some guy friends and they told us there’s a reason guys smack it down before putting it in, and we want to know what that reason is.”

Everyone lost it.

Full-on doubled over, choking on laughter.

“What’s the reason?” I wheezed.

Liam shook his head, trying to process the question. “I am not answering that on a live Q&A, Em.”

“Come on, Teller,” I begged between gasps.

Dan leaned in with a wicked grin. “It’s so we can—”

Dan,” Liam barked. “Do not.

We completely fell apart. The entire trailer was crying with laughter.

There was absolutely no recovering after that.

This is where it all begins.

Chaos in Bloom: Part One is the start of the Hartgrave Tellers.

Before the fame, before the fallout… when it was just music, tension, and a connection no one could ignore.

They were built to break records, not each other’s hearts.

But the contract said don’t fall in love… and the music made it impossible.

If you love stolen kisses, first album chaos, slow burn tension, and watching a band fall apart and fall in love at the same time.

Start at the very beginning 👀🎸
